Please join us in congratulating Professor John Armitage, President of the European Eye Bank Association, on his appointment as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the UK's 2019 New Year honours list, for his services to corneal transplantation (and eye banking).
Professor Armitage is also Emeritus Professor of Translational Health Sciences at the University of Bristol and Head of R&D (Ocular, Tissue and Eye Services) at NHSBT (National Health Service Blood and Transplant).
